創黨人路克（Bernd Lucke）及共同黨魁彼特里（Frauke Petry）間的激烈權鬥，已使黨的整個運動蒙上陰影。
在反對者噓聲與支持者喝彩聲中，路克說，過去幾個月的黨內情勢具傷害性。他說：「情況失控了，恐怕導致我們公開對幹而致自我毀滅。」
